How To Do A Bachelorette Weekend In Barcelona 2018

The first weekend of May 2018 I hopped onto a plane to Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸 from Geneva, Switzerland. It was my first time to Barcelona and my first time taking Easyjet in over 10 years. Their service was surprising, it definitely improved! The location of the bachelorette weekend had been kept a secret from the bride. We were not able to post anything on social media (it was tough).  There were eight of us in total including the bride and we took on Barcelona for four days. We stayed in an AirBnb apartment in downtown Barcelona, click here for the link.

Day One

Our first evening in Barcelona was chill. We stocked up the entire fridge with alcohol, bought food and snacks, gave our gifts to the bride 😉  had dinner and strolled through the streets of the city. Our first day there was dedicated to sightseeing. We took the city sightseeing bus all over the city and visited Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, FC Barcelona Stadium, the shopping streets and more. Visiting Sagrada Familia and Park Guell are a must if you are in Barcelona. I didn’t get the chance to do a tour inside Sagrada Familia but seeing the history outside and architecture was so powerful.

We spent the rest of the afternoon in Park Guell taking selfies, group pictures and singing. It was a good way to end the day before the evening festivities began.

Day Two

That night, we went to two clubs by waterfront as VIP guests thanks to the beautiful maid of honour (in yellow trousers in the above picture). The second day we went out for a very late brunch (around 4pm 🤣) to celebrate one of the girls’ birthday at a cute little place called The Benedict Barcelona and their food was amazing. They even allowed us to move furniture around to take a group picture.

Day Three

Our second evening in Barcelona, we went to the W hotel for the night. The dress code for that evening was all black for Team Bride and white for the Bride. It was a long and fun night out. The following day it rained and ruined our plan for the day. Initially, we were supposed to go on a Catamaran for the day but we ended up spending the daytime sleeping. I went out to meet up with a friend from grad school and explored the rest of the city via foot.

Our last night in Barcelona, we had dinner at CentOnze to end the trip on a high note! Overall, our four-day in Barcelona was amazing! My friend had fun before wedding, we all let loose to our heart’s desires and relaxed before heading back to our various destinations the next morning.

Until next time,
