Happy Wednesday babes 🍑 - Tool 3: Create A State of Positivity- Do you repeatedly say your affirmations for life out loud? If not, start doing that now. The power of language and speech is so profound that speaking your goals and affirmations into existence can manifest them into your life. - If your aim is to grow, you need to create a state of positivity. To do that, you need to repeatedly say out loud your desired goals, actions and wants like an affirmation in order to create a positive mindset. - I know it sounds silly but repeating these out loud places the belief and faith that you have your desired goals into your mind. Therefore, the repetition convinces your mind that this is the direction that you are going and nothing can get in the way of that. - We don’t have time for negativity in this aim for growth. Strengthen your voice to open up your mind to this desired goal of yours to ensure that whatever you want is making its way to you no matter what. - Hope you are enjoying your day! 😘 . . .
Happy Tuesday babes 💕 - Tool 2: Embrace Failure - Last Saturday, I failed to hit 6x4 ~57.5kg/125lbs on bench. A few months ago, I would be scared to try that number again. I would have stayed with what I could manage. - I’m not a stranger to failure, and neither are you. Change your mindset from seeing failure as negative thing to your most critical learning tool. If your aim is to grow, failure is the best asset you can have under your belt. - Failure forces you to strength your mental toughness, it tests your perseverance, your willingness to adapt, your flexibility to learn, explore and discover new methods. - When I fail at something (and I fail a lot of things 😂 let me tell you that), I give myself a pep talk. I review my previous steps and I put a plan into action to not repeat my mistakes and work on making that failure into a win. - Next time you fail at an exam, getting your dream job, getting into grad school, have an argument with a bae - don’t get frustrated or fearful but use it as a learning experience. Learn from it. Work at it and persevere. - Hope you are all having a great start to your week! 😘 . . . .
Happy Monday babes ❤️ - Tool 1: Master Your Craft Aaliyah once said, “If at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off, and try again.” - If you want to grow and live your life in abundance, you have to pay your dues. In order to reach any mastery in life, you have to put in hours and hours of repetition and practice. - If your craft is lifting, teaching, being a doctor, a designer, an artist, an entrepreneur, you have to be willing to master your craft. You can’t be stubborn or complain on your way to success. You have to work. You have to sacrifice some things temporarily in order to master the craft you desire. - The harder you work, the more time you put in, the better you will feel, the more confidence you will have in yourself and your abilities will increase. If you FAIL ( First Attempt In Learning) at first, adopt a positive mindset that you are in the right place. All the successful people have failed...many times and they still succeeded. - What we need to do in order to be great is to keep grinding no matter what. Keep thriving to see the fruits of our labour flourish. Be humble and accept setbacks. . . . .
Happy Saturday babes! 💗 Just when I think I’m getting stronger at bench, it knocks me down a few steps... 😪 - Tough sessions will always come, and as much as they will frustrate you, you’ve got to keep on pushing. It may take one session, ten sessions, even a hundred sessions but you will overcome it eventually. You’ve just got to be patient in this game. . . .
Happy Friday 🍟 babes! 💕 Am I the only one that considers Friday to be part of the week instead of the weekend? 🤷🏾‍♀️ - Leg day was a killer this morning 😭 It was so much better than Monday’s. One thing that I’m learning is that as the weight on the bar increases for squats, the more important it is to focus on squat depth. Need to go low enough to get those white lights 🙏🏾 - A takeaway message for you this weekend: Don’t let fear stop you from reaching you from reaching your goals. How will you ever know your fullest potential in life, if you continue let fear steer you in another direction? - Wishing you all a great weekend
